Tuesdays, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Start Date: September 17

End Date: November 5

Instructor: Elyse Marie

Description: Explore the timeless art of stained glass! This class will cover glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, soldering, and using lead came to frame your stained glass creations.

During the first four weeks, students will select one of four 8”x10” patterns from which to build a solid foundation of the copper foil or “Tiffany method” of stained glass.

In the final four weeks, students will work on a design of their choosing.

Hand tools, grinders, and soldering irons will be provided for in-class use.

Instructor: Elyse Marie is a stained glass artist and designer. Her work incorporates classic leaded and Tiffany-style glass techniques with modern design concepts to bring light, color, and texture into a space.

Her goal is to use light and color to freeze moments in time- the glow of sunshine through a window hanging, or the ripple of color refractions across a kitchen table are the little moments that make glass a gorgeous and timeless medium to work within.

Elyse is a member of the Stained Glass Association of America.
