Donations

Since our founding over sixty years ago, McGroarty
Arts Center has had the honor of being a member of
the Sunland-Tujunga community. Our symbiotic
relationship with our students and patrons has only
strengthened over the years. Our programs are
funded by the generous donors who recognize the
Center as a community centerpiece and a vital part
of the under-represented arts community.

Donations and class fees are central to the Center’s
funding and continued presence in the community.
We are also privileged to receive grants from a select
number of wonderful foundations and organizations
who have given to ensure that this beacon of artistic expression may continue to grow and prosper. Without the generosity of all of our donors, the Center would cease to exist. We thank you deeply for continuing to be a part of the McGroarty Arts Center family.

In-Kind Giving

We happily accept gifts of services and supplies that can be used for our programs. Below are items that help us keep the Center running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Office supplies

  • Keyboards for piano classes

  • Art supplies for classes

Please note that we can only accept items that directly support our programs.  Gifts of vehicles can be made to McGroarty Arts Center through Cars 4 Causes. For gifts of stock, land or other assets, please contact the staff at 818-352-5285.

Volunteering 

Volunteering at McGroarty Arts Center strengthens our community and supports local artists. Whatever your interest, we have a place for you.  Your involvement enables the us to grow and expand, while continuing to provide exceptional classes and events at affordable prices. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Fundraising

  • Event set up and logistics

  • Participating as an artist/vendor in our boutiques and exhibitions

  • Land beautification
